Tour Plan
Upon your arrival at the airport, get transferred to the hotel and check-in. You may relax for the day or self-explore the city by visiting some of its amazing attractions, like the 4th Avenue, Anchorage Museum, etc. Later, return to the hotel at your own pace for an overnight stay.
After check-out from the hotel, take the shuttle to Anchorage Station to board the Alaska Railroad to Talkeetna. On the way, admire the views of the Mt. Denali, also known as Mt. McKinley. Upon arrival, board the shuttle from Talkteena Station to the hotel and check-in. Later, reach Talkeetna Spur Road for the Jet Boat Safari and see bald eagles, moose, and various other animals in their natural habitat. After a fun-filled day, return to the hotel on your own for an overnight stay.
After check-out from the hotel, take the shuttle to the Talkeetna Railway Station to board the Alaska Railroad to Denali. On the way, admire the views of Mt. McKinley and pass through the Broad Pass, the highest point on the Alaska Railroad. Upon arrival, get transferred from Denali Station to the hotel and check-in for an overnight stay.
From your hotel, reach Denali Bus Depot for the Tundra Wilderness Tour at Denali National Park. Enjoy a guided tour around the widespread national park and see various animals like bears, wolves, Dall Sheep, etc. Also, learn about the historical and geographical importance of the area and admire the beautiful surroundings. After an amazing day, reach the hotel on your own for an overnight stay.
After check-out from the hotel, take the shuttle to the Denali Railway Station to board the Alaska Rail Road to Fairbanks. Soon after departing, see the Nenana River Canyon, a famous spot for whitewater rafting. Also, admire the views of the Tanana River as you pass through one of the world’s longest single-span bridges. Upon arrival, board the shuttle from Fairbanks Station to the hotel and check-in for an overnight stay.
In the morning, reach Old Steese Hwy N Fox for the Gold Dredge Tour. Upon arrival, take the Tanana Valley Railroad, which will take you into the gold fields. Take a closer look at the Trans-Alaska pipeline and the displays about it. Continue the tour and visit the Gold Dredge to see how dredge worked in the gold fields. After this trip ends, head back to the hotel on your own, and post-check-out, get transferred to the airport for your flight back home. This is where your trip ends.
